Method

The maths, without the mystery

Every measurement is converted to millimetres. The engine places complete cut shapes row by row inside the usable boundary, includes seam allowance and spacing, and rounds purchases only after the geometry is complete.

Frequently asked questions

Does the width include selvedges?

No. Enter only the cuttable width between the selvedges.

Is this industrial nesting?

No. It is deterministic geometric row planning.

Why can a directional print use more cloth?

Pieces cannot be freely rotated or reversed when the design has a visible top.
